This year's Garage Giveaway will be on Saturday, August 15th, 2026. 

We need your help to make this event a success! Your involvement will help impact students from the nations who are newly arriving here in Pittsburgh. We need help with providing donations the week of as well as help the day of.

DONATIONS can be brought to Bellefield Church (4001 Fifth Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15213) Tuesday, August 11-Thursday, August 13 from 10:00 am-8:00 pm. On those days we will need help with sorting,  unloading donations from vehicles, and transferring donations from storage. Please not that donations CANNOT be accepted on Saturday morning. 

On SATURDAY, August 15th we will need about 100 volunteers to make this day a success.

Different volunteers will:

• carry & load furniture onto vehicles

• deliver students and their items to the curb outside their apartments

• assist, inform & greet students

• photograph the event

• support our volunteers.

We will need separate crews to come early to set up and come late to clean up and haul away leftovers.
